Zoom Services Agreement

The University of Victoria`s zoom service is provided as an office video conferencing service for courses and online meetings. The following agreement (“Agreement”) describes the conditions under which you can access and use the zoom service (“Service”). To become a user of this service or continue, you must read and accept all the terms of this agreement. If you do not agree to be bound by the terms of this Contract, you cannot use or access the service. 20.1 Choice of the law and forum. This agreement is subject to the laws of the State of California and is interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California, as they apply to agreements concluded and executed in California by residents of California. With the exception of Schedule A, the parties to the exclusive jurisdiction and jurisdiction of the state courts in Santa Clara County, California, and the federal courts of the Northern District of California agree. In the context of the customer`s use of the self-service solution, UserZoom provides, during the current subscription period, the following related services (together “RelatedServices”): the customer recognizes: that its networks, devices, software and services used to access the self-service solution must meet the requirements of the operating system, browser and Internet available on www.userzoom.com/system-requirements/, as UserZoom can update them from time to time to access the self-service solution (the “system requirements”). Zoom is a cloud video conferencing platform that is used for online learning, teaching, cooperation and service delivery at the University of Victoria.

You then agree to disclose your name and uvic.ca email address, UVic membership and your device information to Zoom in the United States. The use of Zoom is subject to UVic`s terms of use. You agree to provide Zoom administrators with your contact/repertory information for the purposes of supporting and administering the system. You should not add or share personal or private information about yourself that you do not want to see others.
